Description
In this cover illustration, I featured a key moment early on in the story where the antagonist offers the main character, Emil, a piece of candy while on the train. Emil accepts it and subsequently falls asleep only to awake and find his money gone. This instigates the plot as Emil and his friends must track down the thief. I used the subdued color palette to foster a sense of mystery, while the red candy adds contrast.
